The Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Management Program (CIEM) Practical Training

NU campus

The Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and Management program (CIEM) at Nile University offers practical training to help and assist students in developing skills and talents that will assist them in pursuing professional education and will prepare them for future work after graduation.

Students who participate in this training will be given the opportunity to work in their work field, develop an interest in a certain career, and build a network of connections.

NOTE:

Practical training requires students to spend a whole month working on their internship/service-learning project and then deliver a formal presentation and submit a technical report at the end of the month without any tutorial or lab time.

What is unique about this course is that it is offered as a 3 credit course and should be taken to fulfill the program requirements. Additionally, the student has the option of training in whatever construction company he chooses.
