Nile University is expanding its academic and research excellence! We are now accepting applications for the position of Teaching Assistant in the School of Biotechnology, with specializations in Applied Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.

We are looking for dedicated, visionary candidates who are ready to contribute to a vibrant academic environment, engage in research, and support the next generation of scientists and innovators.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Conducting tutorials, lab sessions, and supervising projects
Providing academic support and feedback to students
Assisting in grading, exams, and course preparation
Supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes
Performing assigned administrative and academic duties

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, or a related field with a focus on Biotechnology
Good command of English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A minimum of 18 hours/week of academic support activities
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!

Preferred Experience:

Hands-on knowledge in industrial or agricultural biotechnology
Experience with quality assurance and academic accreditation
Skills in plant tissue culture, animal cell culture, food safety, algae production, or nanotechnology
Proficiency in bioinformatics and big data tools
Interest in bridging academia with industry through innovation and entrepreneurship
