We were honored to welcome His Excellency the Ambassador of Latvia, during a special visit to the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Commercialization Center (IECC) at Nile University.

This distinguished visit highlighted our shared commitment to fostering innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and strengthening international collaboration. The Ambassador was welcomed by Dr. Heba, Assistant Vice President for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, who accompanied him on a tour of the IECC, showcasing its vibrant spaces and initiatives.

During the visit, Ahmed Saleh, Director of IECC, gave a comprehensive presentation on the center’s strategic programs and their impact on startups, researchers, and technology transfer. Discussions focused on commercialization, university-industry collaboration, and the potential for Latvia-Egyptian cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship.
