We are proud to announce that one of our Nile University student participated in the Aathar Team, which secured second place in the Cybersecurity category at DIGITOPIA, the largest and most widely recognized national competition of its kind.
Since its inception, DIGITOPIA has attracted over 25,000 innovators, forming more than 6,500 teams from governorates across Egypt. From these, 72 teams, comprising over 300 competitors, advanced to the final stage, presenting innovative digital solutions to address community challenges and promote the effective use of technology for the development of Egyptian society.
The competition was evaluated by over 90 experts in innovation and digital technologies. It was supervised by the Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA), the National Telecommunications Institute, and the Information Technology Institute, in collaboration with prominent local and international partners, including UNDP, Huawei Technologies Egypt, Cisco Egypt, IT Valley, Egyptian Telecommunication, Vodafone Egypt, Orange Egypt, E& Egypt, and others.
The finals and judging took place on November 28–29 across three categories: Software & AI, Cybersecurity, and Digital Arts & Games.
This achievement showcases the dedication and skill of our student and reflects Nile University’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, excellence, and leadership in technology.
