Social Media Strategy and Its Importance in the AI Era
The School of Business was pleased to host Mr. Ihab ElSherif, Global AI Strategy & Growth Leader and CMO-level marketing executive, for an insightful guest lecture delivered as part of the Introduction to Mass Communication class at the School of Business, taught by Dr. Rasha Elibiary.
The session, titled “Social Media Strategy and Its Importance in the AI Era,” drew on Mr. ElSherif’s 16+ years of experience across SaaS, fintech, telecom, and education in the Middle East. He shared practical insights on AI-powered visibility, data-driven growth, and how brands must adapt their social media strategies in an era shaped by generative AI and intelligent platforms.
As a Professor of Practice in AI Marketing and the founder of Siqa, the Arabic-first AI Visibility & GEO/AEO Intelligence platform, Mr. ElSherif highlighted how entity clarity, trust signals, and Share-of-Answers are redefining the future of digital marketing.
