School of Biotechnology Participates in the OPPM Training at Democritus University of Thrace, Greece

The School of Biotechnology staff members flew to Alexandroupolis, Greece to attend a research training on July 17-19 as part of the Online Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine (OPPM) Program

OPPM is a consortium funded by the European education program ERASMUS+ that aims at designing the first diploma and MSc program in pharmacogenomics and personalized medicine in Egypt and the Middle East. The consortium is led by Alexandria University and includes universities and organizations from all around the world including Nile University. 

The training program was organized by the Laboratory of Pharmacology and the Individualized Medicine and Pharmacological Research Solutions (IMPReS) Center at Democritus University of Thrace. OPPM members were introduced to the center’s different projects and technologies and participated in various hands-on experiments.
