The Path to High-Impact Research Publications: Breaking the Silos at the Nexus of International Criminal Law, Social Sciences, IP, and STEM
Nile University’s Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO), in collaboration with the Teaching, Learning, and Digital Education Center (TLDEC), proudly hosted a vital seminar: "The Path to High-Impact Research Publications: Breaking the Silos at the Nexus of International Criminal Law, Social Sciences, IP, and STEM."
Our distinguished guest speaker, Prof. Mohamed Elewa Badar (Chair of Comparative and International Criminal Law at Northumbria University, UK), presented on high-impact research at the intersection of International Criminal Law and Social Sciences.
Joining him was NU's Dr. Hebatalla Kaoud (Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Management of Technology and IPTTO Director), who shed light on how Intellectual Property (IP) serves interdisciplinary research in STEM fields, emphasizing that publications and IP are not enemies with the right strategies.
The seminar successfully highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary synergy for globally influential research. A diverse audience of faculty, judges, lawyers, and students attended.
