The Office for International Affairs at Nile University was delighted to host Dr. Dina Rashed from the University of Chicago and Ms. Heba Iskander from Orascom Construction for a productive visit that underscored NU’s growing global engagement.
The meeting brought together representatives from both institutions alongside Nile University’s senior management team, including Prof. Essam Roushdy, Acting President, and Prof. Amr Safwat, Acting Provost. Discussions focused on potential collaboration opportunities under the Sawiris Scholarship Program, which is managed by the University of Chicago and supported by Orascom Construction.
The dialogue reflected a shared vision of enhancing access to quality education and strengthening international academic partnerships. The visit concluded with a tour of Nile University’s campus, where our guests experienced NU’s dynamic learning environment and innovative facilities.
