Nile University Hosts Strategic Collaboration Meeting with Orange Group & Orange Labs

Nile University welcomed senior representatives from Orange Group (France) and Orange Lab Egypt for a high-level collaboration meeting aimed at strengthening academic–industry partnerships in advanced technologies.
 
The meeting showcased NU’s vision, research ecosystem, and innovation capacity across the ITCS School and the Center for Informatics Sciences (CIS). Discussions highlighted NU’s research strengths, ongoing national and international collaborations, and successful industry-linked projects.
 
Several joint research and innovation opportunities were explored, focused on AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing, digital health, and smart agriculture.
 
Orange Research presented its global research strategy, emphasizing AI, cybersecurity and Quantum Technology as key focus areas and expressing strong interest in deeper engagement with NU researchers and postgraduate students.
 
The visit concluded with a tour of NU’s specialized research centers, reinforcing a shared commitment to impactful, industry-aligned research and paving the way for future joint projects and long-term strategic collaboration.
