Nile University hosts a delegation from Central China Normal University (CCNU)
On Sunday May 31st 2026, Nile University hosted a high-level delegation from Central China Normal University (CCNU), marking a key milestone in NU’s internationalization efforts.
The visit culminated in the formal signing of a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening long-term educational and research collaboration between the two universities.
Prof. Essam Roushdy and Prof. Xia Lixin officially signed a five-year, renewable Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement lays down the legal framework for:
- Joint Research Initiatives: Collaborative work across foundational and applied fields, including physics, chemistry, computer science, and business administration.
- Faculty & Staff Exchange: Promoting mutual short- and long-term personnel flows and joint seminar participation.
- Student Exchange Programs: Creating reciprocal, tuition-waived study-abroad pipelines for qualifying students.
The team from CCNU had fruitful discussions with Nile University faculty and personnel where both institutions explored new opportunities for joint research initiatives, faculty and staff exchange, and tuition-waived student exchange programs.
Building on this momentum, five NU students were selected to join the CCNU Summer School in Wuhan from 22 June to 6 July 2026, at no charges to explore the culture, and enrich their education further.
Nile University looks forward to cultivating a strong, mutually beneficial partnership and expanding academic impact across borders and sectors.
