Fostering Collaboration: Digital Research Center of Sfax Visits Nile University

We were delighted to host a fruitful visit from the Digital Research Center of Sfax (CRN) to Nile University (NU)! Such exchanges are vital for advancing digital research and technology transfer across borders.

A warm welcome was extended to Professor Ahmed Fakhfakh, General Director of the Digital Research Center of Sfax, and the distinguished technology transfer officers: Mr. Mahdi Ayadi and Mr. Noomen Hachima. We were also pleased to welcome Mr. Wael Rashidi, Managing Director of Guiders.

Key Highlights of the Visit:

Nile University Information Technology and Computer Science (ITCS) & Research: Dr. Ahmed El Mahdi, Dean of the School of ITCS, presented an overview of the School and its exciting ongoing research tracks. Dr. Walid El Atabany, Vice Dean of ITCS and Center of Informatics Research Center Director, highlighted the latest research from the center.

CRN & Technology Transfer: Prof. Ahmed Fakhfakh provided insights into the work of the Centre de Recherche en Numérique de Sfax. Following this, Mr. Mahdi Ayadi detailed the key activities in technology transfer at the CRN.

NU's Management of Technology (MOT) & Intellectual Property: Dr. Hebatalla Kaoud, Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Management of Technology (MOT) and Director of the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO), presented the MOT Graduate School, its research tracks, and program activities, with a special focus on the crucial progress and activities of the IPTTO.

The visit concluded with all participants agreeing on an action plan for future collaboration. We are excited about the potential for joint research, knowledge sharing, and technological innovation between our institutions!
