Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin: the New Board of Trustees Chairman

In a handover ceremony for honoring Mr. Amr Moussa, former Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, the board has announced the new Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin.

Nile University witnessed the ceremony of handing over the presidency of the Board of Trustees, which passed from H.E Amr Moussa, the well-known politician and diplomat, Chairman of the Committee of Fifty, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and former Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, to Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund. He is also the climate pioneer for the Egyptian presidency of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Climate Change Convention (COP 27) and the United Nations Special Envoy for Financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The ceremony was honored with the attendance of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development; Dr. Rasha. Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Academy for Training and Youth Rehabilitation; Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women; Dr. Wael Akl, President of Nile University; Dr. Tarik Khalil, Founding President of the University; the deans of NU Schools, and members of the University’s Board of Trustees.
