The Food and Agriculture Model at Nile University, in collaboration with the School of Biotechnology, is excited to launch the Biopreneurship Training Series a unique program designed to guide students and researchers through the journey of transforming scientific discoveries into real-world startups.

We are honored to have Mr. Khalid Wael, Co-founder of Chitosan Startup, leading this series as both a speaker and mentor.
This is not just a single session. Throughout the series, Mr. Khalid will work closely with participants to explore the full pathway from lab discovery to startup creation. The program will also include field visits to Chitosan, where part of the training and mentorship will take place.

Through interactive sessions, workshops, and field visits, participants will gain insights into:

  • Identifying innovative ideas from scientific research
  • Fundamentals of biotech entrepreneurship
  • Building viable startup models from lab discoveries
  • Navigating the biotech and innovation ecosystem

By the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to develop their own startup ideas, with direct guidance and mentorship from Mr. Khalid—bringing their concepts one step closer to real ventures.
Hosted by: Food and Agriculture Model – Nile University & School of Biotechnology
Mentor & Speaker: Mr. Khalid Wael
First session: April 8th at 1:00 PM – Tech Space, Nile University

If you are passionate about biotechnology, innovation, food and agriculture, and entrepreneurship, this series is your chance to turn ideas into impact.
