SEO Website Copywriter
Job Responsibilities:
Content Development
- Create high-quality, original, and engaging content for website pages, landing pages, blogs, service pages, and product descriptions.
- Optimize existing website content to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and marketing objectives.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent analysis to identify content opportunities.
- Apply semantic SEO and keyword optimization techniques throughout all content.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal links, and heading structures (H1, H2, H3).
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Audience & Conversion Optimization
- Research target audiences, customer journeys, and user pain points to create relevant and valuable content.
- Develop persuasive calls-to-action (CTAs) that support lead generation and conversion goals.
- Create content that effectively guides visitors through the marketing and sales funnel.
Collaboration & Content Strategy
- Collaborate with marketing, design, web development, and SEO teams to ensure cohesive messaging and user experience.
- Support content planning and editorial calendars based on SEO priorities and business goals.
- Contribute ideas for new content initiatives, campaigns, and website improvements.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor content performance using analytics and SEO tools.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve content performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in SEO copywriting, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience creating content for B2B, education, technology, or professional services sectors.
- Experience working with agencies, marketing teams, or in-house digital environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO and content optimization techniques.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Basic understanding of UX writing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Understanding of SEO content strategy, search intent, and content marketing best practices.
- Exceptional English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging content.
