Sawiris Distinction Scholarship for Public High School Graduates
Sawiris Foundation is offering full scholarships to Egyptian students applying for undergraduate studies at Nile University for all Nile University schools except Biotechnology School covering the full duration of study.
Eligibility criteria:
- To be an Egyptian national residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders)
- To be a graduate of Egyptian Thanawya Amma public schools in 2025/2026 with a score of no less than 90%.
- Proof of applying for the Academic Program and meeting all the program prerequisites. Students applying for programs in English language will need to demonstrate minimum proficiency level required by the University.
- Applicants must not have lived abroad for more than three years.
- Applicant must be committed to work in Egypt for 3 years after graduation and completing military service, when applicable.
- Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, engagement in extracurricular activities, and Takaful and Karama Program beneficiaries.
- Students from all governments across Egypt can apply.
Application Process:
Interested Students to apply for the scholarship should follow the following steps:
- Apply for the academic program of Nile University.
- Students must meet the minimum admission requirements at NU.
- Provide Proof of English Language Proficiency when applying for English based Academic programs.
- Prepare all the required documents for the application.
- Complete the online application for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship using the following LINK.
- Provide Student Placement Number in the application. Sawiris Foundation will check scores of shortlisted applicants, using placement numbers.
Important Application Instructions:
Selection as a nominee for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship does not guarantee university acceptance. Applicants must apply to Nile University from the list of selected universities and programs.
