Yunegreen Competition

A group of participants joined the Yunegreen competition to search for innovative solutions to mitigate local climate change impacts in a 6-day training camp to learn how to turn their ideas into business ventures that address climate change issues.

Topics discussed in the training camp included:

  • Understanding climate issues and target customers
  • Conducting interviews with customers and improving the project model
  • Focusing on the business model
  • Adapting to the surrounding environment
  • Validating assumptions - hypothesis testing
  • Presenting the project to obtain the necessary resources for validation
  • Participants learned how to develop and test business models to ensure their viability and environmental friendliness, showcasing their project ideas at the end of the camp.

The competition is funded by the European Union, led by the Life Makers Foundation and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, executed by Nile Pioneers, in partnership with Samsung, Nile University, Egyptian Food Bank, and other government partnerships.
