Nile University Hosts Esteemed Guests from Queen's University Belfast for Enlightening Sessions

Nile University had the honor of welcoming esteemed guests from Queen's University Belfast for two enlightening sessions held on Monday, April 29th, 2024. The sessions, led by Dr. Ihsen Alouani and Dr. Aidan McGowan, provided valuable insights and opportunities for students.

The first session, conducted by Dr. Ihsen Alouani from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in Eng. Samir Helmy Hall – room 127, Dr. Tarek Kahlil Building, focused on "The Overlooked Risk: An Overview on ML Trustworthiness in Adversarial Settings." Dr. Alouani delved into the critical aspects of machine learning trustworthiness, particularly in adversarial settings, offering a comprehensive overview and analysis.

Following Dr. Alouani's session, Dr. Aidan McGowan took the stage from 1:30 to 2:30 PM to present an "Info Session on Study at Queen’s University, Belfast, and opportunities for international students." This session provided valuable information about studying at Queen's University Belfast and highlighted various opportunities available to international students, encouraging cross-cultural academic exchanges and collaborations.

The sessions were attended by a diverse group of students, faculty, and academic staff from Nile University, all eager to engage with the esteemed guests and gain insights into the topics discussed.
